Let me see once in my lifetime: St Basil’s Cathedral
“From Russia with loveeee, I flyyy to youuuu….” sang Matt Monro.
Russia is a world strange to me. I know only those furry hats, Anastacia, Kremlin, Chernobyl, K-19 and few more things, lols. And I came to know St Basil’s Cathedral from SimCity 3000 where you can place world landmarks on your virtual city. And like I said before, I love domes. To me, the cathedral actually looks like an entrance to amusement park actually, with all those cheerful colours, teehee… but it really pleases my eyes really. Also, it’s an orthodox church, which makes me even more curious.
By the way, I spelled St Petersburg (the location of the cathedral) as PetersBUG once ^^;
I happen to love Russian names Dmitri and all those ending with -ky or -ov, hehehe…like hmm…Kalashnikov??? Oops, that’s a name of a man who made a famous type of gun actually.
By the way again, my Confirmation (the slapping sacrament) name is Yevginiya in Russian, cool eh??? I just love Russian names.
